Golf is getting a remix this fall—and you’re invited to be part of it.
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, VOICES Corporation will bring the city together for a one-of-a-kind experience at Eagle Creek Golf Club. The 4th Annual Golf, Art & Hip Hop Outing blends the tradition of the game with the rhythm, creativity, and community energy that make Indy shine.
This high-vibe day isn’t just about perfecting your swing—it’s about showing up for the youth and families who are shaping our city’s future. Proceeds from the outing directly support VOICES programs that empower young people through self-expression, community involvement, and real-life opportunities that change lives.
“This event is about more than golf—it’s about creating spaces where our community can be seen, heard, and celebrated,” says Kia Wright, Executive Director of VOICES Corporation. “By fusing art, music, and movement with a traditionally exclusive sport, we’re saying loud and clear: there’s room for all of us here. And when you show up, you’re showing up for a young person’s future.”
A Day Where Culture Meets the Green
The VOICES Golf, Art & Hip Hop Outing is unlike any other fundraiser you’ve attended. Here’s what’s in store:
- Bourbon Bar
- Breakfast, Lunch, and a Post-Event Meal
- Unlimited Beverage Package
- Live DJs and Local Art Displays
- 50/50 Raffle & Silent Auction
It’s a celebration where golf etiquette meets hip hop beats, where community leaders and creatives share the same space, and where the day’s energy matches the impact being made.
For Jill Wynne, VOICES Director of Development, the event’s value extends far beyond the funds raised.
“Golf is a powerful tool for teaching life skills—etiquette, patience, strategy, and respect,” says Wynne. “By introducing more young people and families to the game through this culturally relevant experience, we’re not just raising money—we’re expanding access. We want everyone to feel like they belong here, whether they’re swinging clubs or soaking in the energy.”
By the Community; For the Community
At VOICES, we believe leadership begins long before someone steps into a boardroom. It starts with identity, confidence, and knowing how to use your voice. Our programs give youth the tools to lead with authenticity in whatever path they choose—whether that’s in business, the arts, public service, or entrepreneurship.
“We don’t just need students to graduate—we need them to lead,” Wright emphasizes. “That begins when they believe they can. We’re laying that foundation now, so that years from now, these young people will be sitting in C-suites, running companies, and driving inclusive change.”
Whether you’re a golfer, an art lover, a music fan, or simply someone who believes in the power of community, there’s a way to be part of this movement:
- Register to hit the green as an individual or a foursome.
- Come for the culture—Join us for the music, art, and atmosphere!
- Sponsor the event and position your brand alongside a high-impact, high-visibility event while directly investing in the next generation of leaders.
“When companies show up—not just with sponsorship dollars, but with a real willingness to engage—they model what inclusive leadership looks like,” Wright says. “They show our youth that the door is open—and they’re welcome to walk through it.”
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 5, 2025, and join us at Eagle Creek Golf Club for a 9 a.m. shotgun start to a day unlike any other. Spots fill quickly, so don’t wait—register your team or contact Jill Wynne at jwynne@voicescorp.org to secure your sponsorship now.
