Swing for Change: VOICES’ Annual Golf, Art & Hip Hop Experience Returns on October 5
VOICE’s 2025 outing blends culture, music, golf, and purpose to uplift youth and families across Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN (August 14, 2025)—Golf gets a remix this October as VOICES Corporation hosts its 4th Annual Golf, Art & Hip Hop Outing. Set against the backdrop of lush greens and booming beats, the event invites players, community members, and changemakers to come together for a day of purpose, play, and cultural celebration.
The event takes place at the Eagle Creek Golf Club with a shotgun start on October 5, 2025, at 9 a.m. The experience features a bourbon bar, full meal service (breakfast, lunch, and post-event), unlimited beverages, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle, all infused with hip hop, local art, and an atmosphere of inclusion and empowerment. More than a fundraiser, the outing serves as a platform to break down barriers and make the sport of golf more accessible and relevant to today’s youth and families.
“This event is about more than golf—it’s about creating spaces where our community can be seen, heard, and celebrated,” said Kia Wright, Executive Director of VOICES Corporation. “By fusing art, music, and movement with a traditionally exclusive sport, we’re saying loud and clear: there’s room for all of us here. Proceeds directly support VOICES’ youth-centered programs, which provide safe spaces, housing, mental health support, alternative education, and workforce pathways to young people and families in Indianapolis. The event represents more than a revenue stream—it’s an invitation to learn, grow, and connect.
